Hey Ginger!

Updated: Aug 7

What benefits do you offer you little herbaceous plant?

This root offers amazing benefits not only does it add amazing flavor but studies are showing it also helps reduce pain for those who have arthritis. The amount of studies around the wonderful rhizomes found in ginger root has been used medicinally, as food and as a spice for centuries as stated by Britannica's Encyclopedia. In the National Library of Medicine a published journal; Ginger on Human Health: A Comprehensive Systematic Review of 109 Randomized Controlled Trials they break down the results of the many studies, PubMed papers and trials reported on what was found or could be studied more or is left inconclusive. The evaluation on Ginger reviewed evidence around those who had dysmenhorrea, neuroinflammation, how it reduces nausea and its antioxidant & antimicrobial properties.

I often recommend ginger to my clients. Ginger can be used with a blend of other spices and ingredients. The clients are experiencing relief from nausea, less common colds and other health benefits when using ginger in a combination of ways.
